Program Overview
Additive Manufacturing is based upon Computer-Aided-Design and 3-D Printing. This program provides students with the knowledge of Introduction, Intermediate, and Advanced Drafting Design Technology, Three-Dimensional Solid Modeling and Engineering Applications and the skill to be successful in the Mechanical and Technical Design fields.

3D Printing Technician/Operator: This role involves operating and maintaining 3D printers, ensuring they function properly and produce high-quality prints. Techniciansmay also troubleshoot issues with printing processes and perform routine maintenance tasks.

CAD Technician: With skills in CAD, graduates can work as CAD technicians, creating and modifying digital models for 3D printing. THey may collaborate with engineers and designers to develop prototypes and products.

Manufacturing Technician: Graduates can work in manufacturing settings where additive manufacturing processes are utilized. They may assist in production, quality control, and process improvement activities.

Production Assistant: In manufacturing environments, graduates can work as production assistants, supporting the additive manufacturing process by preparing materials, monitoring equipment and ensuring a smooth workflow.
