Students & Families
Welcome to our family center, a space for resources, information, and more. We are looking forward to partnering with parents, guardians, and our community to ensure the academic success and social and emotional well-being of our students.
Parent's Right to Know
All certified staff employed by Albertville City Schools meet state qualifications and licensing criteria for the grade levels and subject areas in which they teach. In addition, all paraprofessionals meet state and federal criteria for their position. Should it become necessary, Albertville City Schools will notify the parents of each child being taught by a teacher that is teaching under emergency or other provisional status after four consecutive weeks.
Each school will provide parents with information on the level of achievement and academic growth, as measured on each of the state academic assessments, of their child at the beginning of each school year. In addition, parents of English Learners will be provided easily understood information on their child’s progress in obtaining English proficiency.
