• Dual Enrollment

Dual enrollment allows high school students to enroll in college courses and receive both high school and college credit for the same course. These arrangements allow students to meet the requirements for high school graduation while simultaneously earning college credit. Students must meet any requirements for the specific courses in order to participate in this program. Students should consult their prospective colleges and universities to determine if the credit is accepted by that college or university.

The program is open to all students who meet the following requirements:

    • Students must have and maintain a 2.5 overall GPA and meet the admission requirements of the participating college. Please note that some programs may require a higher GPA.
    • They must have successfully completed the ninth and tenth grade.
    • Has written approval from the school counselor and administrator.
    • Students must select courses approved by AHS and agreed upon as a course substitution.

Students are responsible for all college tuition and fee costs as required by the college.
