Albertville native Amiah Murry named member of The Top 20 of 2024 at UAH

July 14, 2024

Amiah Murry, a native of Albertville and graduate of Albertville High School, was recently selected as a member of The Top 20 of 2024 at The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) College of Business. UAH is a part of The University of Alabama System.

This prestigious program recognizes extraordinary undergraduate and graduate students from the UAH College of Business. The 20 selected business students distinguish themselves in areas such as academic excellence, professional career development, exemplary leadership, community service, overcoming adversity, entrepreneurship or making a substantial positive impact on others on, or off, campus.

Murry didn’t let her personal challenges stop her from achieving her dreams of attending college. “Coming from a single-parent household, the idea of paying for college seemed far-fetched. Yet, my academic and athletic abilities have placed me in a position for success,” Murry said.

While attending UAH, Murry has excelled in the classroom and on the UAH track team. She launched her professional career at BMSS as an intern in their government contracting accounting group.
