As principal of Albertville Middle School, I want to welcome you to Aggie country. We are very excited to
have this opportunity to share the Albertville Middle School story with you.
We are a school which embraces and celebrates our diversity. We believe that Albertville Middle School,
as well as all Albertville City Schools, provides our students with many “Advantages”. We strive to instruct
our students and help them grow into well-rounded adults. Our diversity has provided many
opportunities for growth. The following are just a few examples of student growth:
● A variety of practical electives such as Career Preparedness, Computer Science
Discoveries, and PreAgriscience.
● Advanced sections offered in all four core academic areas
● 115 students were inducted/current members of AMS National Junior Honor
Society
● Pre- Algebra team placed 1st in the Marshall Co. Math Tournament; Algebra I
team placed 2nd in the Marshall Co. Math Tournament; 2 1st place individual
overall student winners (pre algebra & algebra)
● An award winning fine arts program consisting of Band(almost 250 students),
Choir(almost 150), and Art(130 students)
● Our extracurricular activities include football, basketball, volleyball, cheerleading,
cross country, track, tennis, golf, baseball, softball, math team, and multimedia
team(almost 350 students).
● A variety of mind- spirit- character- building clubs to join such as FFA, FCA, and
Junior National Honor Society.
● All 8th grade students complete Jr. Achievement Academy each year
We are fortunate to be part of a school, a school system, and a community which provide so many
advantages to our students. More importantly, I am glad to have the chance to work together with my
staff, students, parents, and community to impact the lives of our students.
