I have been an art teacher for thirty-seven years with the Albertville City School System.  Presently, I teach first and second grade students.  I am a native of Linden, Alabama and a 1985 graduate of the University of Alabama. I have a Master’s degree in Art Education.  I was named Alabama Elementary Art Educator of the Year 2011 and the Alabama House and Senate honored me with a House Joint Resolution for earning the Albertville Chamber of Commerce's 2011 Educator of the Year. My husband and I have two daughters and a son-in-law.
