Athletics at AHS

Welcome to the Albertville High School Athletics! Our school proudly offers a diverse range of sports, including football, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, soccer, tennis, golf, cheerleading, flag football, swim, cross country, and track. Our dedicated athletes and coaches strive for excellence both on and off the field, fostering teamwork, discipline, and school spirit.

Athletic Director

Coach Matthew Lambert began his coaching career at Albertville in 2016 and was named Athletic Director in 2021. Lambert is a 1997 graduate of Fyffe high school, where he was a standout baseball player who then went on to play college baseball at Central Alabama Community College and Birmingham Southern, and spent almost 20 years at various schools throughout the area, including stops at Fyffe, Douglas, and Oneonta before coming to Albertville.
