The 4-H Club at Albertville Elementary School, now in its 8th year, has made a positive impact on our school and the students and families of AES. The AES 4-H club has earned the Marshall County Club of the Year title twice, while also recognizing outstanding individuals with awards like 4-Her of the Year, Vice-President of the Year, Secretary of the Year, and Leader of the Year. Each year, the club engages approximately 200 fourth-grade students through a variety of contests, including Baking, Woodworking, Extreme Birdhouse, Blocks Rock, and Photography, among others. This vibrant program not only fosters creativity and skill development, but also boasts numerous achievements at school, county, and regional levels.
Registration is open to all 4th grade students. Applications are available from Mrs. Adams. Students have the opportunity to run for the offices of President, Vice-President, and Secretary. AES 4-H hosts one contest per month with some additional contests throughout the year. All contest rules and due dates can be found on Instagram: @aes_4h, the AES Facebook page, and the AES website.
